(Enter Narrator)

Narrator: Once upon a time on a planet called Mewpurrter, there was an oofa named Zoofusa. At this time, Zoofusa was still young, and the oofa tribe had no leader. Kiroofusa- Zoofusa’s mom, had passed away one week ago. Zoofusa couldn’t wait to be leader, but nobody in the oofa tribe liked Zoofusa, except for Zoofusa’s friend Lulloofusa.

(Narrator exits)

(Enter Lulloofusa and Zoofusa)

Lulloofusa: Zoofusa, can you grab those ribbons over there?

Zoofusa: Of course!

(Zoofusa hands Lulloofusa ribbons)

Lulloofusa: Are you excited to become leader tonight?

Zoofusa: I’m really excited! I hope everybody likes me!

Lulloofusa: Of course everyone will like you! Why would they not?

Zoofusa: I don’t know…. It just seems like all the oofas hate me!

Lulloofusa: Its just in your head. Don’t worry about it Zoofusa, you’ll make a great leader.

Zoofusa: Okay, you’re right!

Lulloofusa: And we’re almost finished decorating the caves!

Zoofusa: I know! Who do you think is coming to my coronation?

Lulloofusa: I think the king and queen of the Dark Forest and the king and queen of the Enchanted Forest are coming, and the wikalow tribe!

Zoofusa: Really? Awesome! I might be able to meet the upcoming wikalow leader!

Lulloofusa: Now that I think about it, I think that tomorrow there is going to be a wikalow coronation!

Zoofusa: Awesome! I should go!

Lulloofusa: You should probably focus on your coronation first….

(Zoofusa and Lulloofusa exit)

(Enter Zoofusa and Bloofusa)

Zoofusa: (To himself) I can’t wait to become tribe leader!

Bloofusa: Ha! You’re going to be the worst leader ever!

Zoofusa: How do you know that?

Bloofusa: Because who would ever like a leader like you?

Zoofusa: That’s not true!

Bloofusa: Stop lying to yourself Zoofusa

Zoofusa: I’m not lying

Bloofusa: You should just leave the tribe

Zoofusa: N-no I shouldn’t! Just leave me alone! Why does everyone hate me!?

(Zoofusa runs off)

Bloofusa: (Laughs) He’s so helpless! (Laughs)

(Bloofusa exits)

(Enter Zoofusa in the Zypharoll hills)

Zoofusa: I don’t want to become leader anymore. It’s useless, no one will like me. As far I know, Bloofusa will try to overthrow me!

(Enter Lulloofusa)

Lulloofusa: Zoofusa, what’s wrong?

Zoofusa: I don’t want to become leader

Lulloofusa: Why not? Your coronation happens in ten minutes!

Zoofusa: I’m not going

Lulloofusa: Yes you are

Zoofusa: But no one likes me

Lulloofusa: I like you!

Zoofusa: But you’re my only friend, no one else likes me

Lulloofusa: Well they’ll change their minds after the coronation. You have to become leader!

Zoofusa: I…. Fine, I’ll do it

Lulloofusa: Yay! Let’s go back to the tribe

Zoofusa: Fine

(Zoofusa and Lullofusa exit)

(Enter Narrator)

Narrator: Well this is interesting. It seems as if Zoofusa doesn’t want to become leader, but his friend Lulloofusa convinced him to. I wonder what will happen at Zoofusa’s coronation!

(Narrator exits)

(Enter Zoofusa, Oofa tribe, Wikalow tribe, ki-turkeys, and some cats)

Zoofusa: Wow, so many creatures came!

Lulloofusa: I know! This is insane!

Lulloofusa’s mom: (Offstage) Lulloofusa! Come sit down with me in the seats!

Lulloofusa: Okay mom! Sorry Zoofusa, I got to go. See ya later

Zoofusa: Bye

(Enter Woofusa)

Woofusa: Zoofusa! It’s time for your coronation! Hurry up and get on stage!

Zoofusa: I’m going

(Zoofusa and Woofusa enter on a stage)

(Cats, ki-turkeys, wikalows, and Lulloofusa clap)

Woofusa: Welcome to the coronation of Zoofusa!

Lulloofusa: Yay! Zoofusa!

Bloofusa: Eww, Zoofusa!

Woofusa: (Sarcastically) Now, I’m sure you’re all VERY excited for this amazing coronation today.

Lulloofusa: Of course!

Woofusa: Would you be quiet!?

Lulloofusa: Sorry….

Woofusa: As I was saying, let the coronation begin! Zoofusa!

Zoofusa: (Quietly) Yes?

Woofusa: Step forward

Zoofusa: (Steps forward)

Woofusa: Repeat after me. I Zoofusa

Zoofusa: I Zoofusa

Woofusa: Will be the best leader I can

Zoofusa: Will be the best leader I can

Woofusa: And follow the rules of the oofas

Zoofusa: And follow the rules of the oofas

Woofusa: Even though they hate me

Zoofusa: Eve- Wait, what?

Woofusa: Say it!

Zoofusa: Even though they hate me

Woofusa: I will be a terrible leader

Zoofusa: I-I will be a terrible leader

Woofusa: Everyone! Give a round of applause to Zoofusa!

(Everyone claps except for the oofas)

Woofusa: Now, one final step, the crown (oofa brings out crown) Zoofusa, look at me

Zoofusa: (Looks at Woofusa)

Woofusa: Here is the crown of the oofas, it is now yours (Woofusa places crown on Zoofusa’s head) The coronation is finally over!

(Everyone claps)

Lulloofusa: Zoofusa! Zoofusa! Zoofusa!

(Wikalows, ki-turkeys, and cats join in)

All except oofas: Zoofusa! Zoofusa! Zoofusa!

(Zoofusa runs off)

Lulloofusa: Zoofusa! Wait!

(All exit)

(Enter Zoofusa)

Zoofusa: I’m the leader of the oofas now… This is terrible! Everyone hates me! What will I do?

(Enter Mint)

Mint: Hello? Zoofusa?

Zoofusa: What? Uh- Who are you?

Mint: I’m Mint, the soon to be leader of the wikalow tribe!

Zoofusa: You are? That’s cool!

Mint: Yeah. I don’t think you’ll make a bad leader!

Zoofusa: Really?

Mint: Really! I think you’ll be awesome!

Zoofusa: I don’t know about that. I feel like everyone hates me…. I just wish I could get them to like me

Mint: Hmm…. Actually, I think I know how to make that happen

Zoofusa: I doubt it

Mint: Seriously! Just come to the wikalow tribe with me. I have something that might help

Zoofusa: I don’t think I can go now

Mint: Come on! It will be fun!

Zoofusa: Okay….

(Zoofusa & Mint exit)

(Enter Narrator)

Narrator: Hmm, I wonder why Mint is taking Zoofusa to the Wikalow Tribe? Let’s find out!

(Enter Zoofusa and Mint in a cave filled with scrolls)

Zoofusa: Wow! This place is so cool!

Mint: Thanks! This is where the leader of the wikalow tribe spends most of their time. I’m going to be living in this cave tomorrow!

Zoofusa: Awesome! What are on the walls?

Mint: Those? Those are just scrolls, potions, and maps. The past leader of the wikalow tribe knew a lot about magic, so I’ve learned a lot from him. I’m still getting used to finding certain things though

Zoofusa: That’s so cool! But why did you bring me here?

Mint: I found something yesterday that I thought was interesting, and it might be just the thing you need!

Zoofusa: I need for what?

Mint: For the oofas to like you! Here, (Mint grabs a scroll of the shelf) take this

Zoofusa: What is this?

Mint: Read it

Zoofusa: It just says “Ustinishti”

Mint: Have you heard of the seven stones of Mewpurrter?

Zoofusa: Um kind of, yes?

Mint: the seven stones of Mewpurrter are the old stones founded when Mewpurrter first formed, and I think that this is one of them. No one has found a stone of Mewpurrter in years, at least it’s not documented.

Zoofusa: Weird. What does it do?

Mint: If my research is right then it should make everyone like you!

Zoofusa: Really? Where is the stone?

Mint: I’m not sure, but this scroll is a hint towards finding the stone

Zoofusa: It doesn’t tell me anything!

Mint: I’m sure it will eventually, you just need to be in the right place at the right time

Zoofusa: What does that mean?

Mint: You’ll see

Zoofusa: Um….

Mint: Sorry, when my dad was alive, he told me I need to be mysterious when I speak of scrolls and magic

Zoofusa: Oh, okay

Mint: Now go! Find the Ustinishti Stone! Use its powers on the oofas! Change the oofas! Change EVERYTHING!!!

Zoofusa: (Stares at Mint)

Mint: To much?

Zoofusa: Yeah

Mint: Okay, well you should go now. See you soon!

Zoofusa: Okay, bye!

Mint: Bye Zoofusa!

(Mint and Zoofusa exit on opposite sides of stage)

(Enter Zoofusa in Oofa tribe)

Zoofusa: Okay, I have Mint’s scroll now, but what does it mean? I have to be in the right place at the right time? Maybe that was just Mint being weird. I don’t know,I’m going to go outside and think for a bit

(Zoofusa sits on a rock in the middle of the tribe, the moonlight shines on the scroll)

Zoofusa: That’s cool, the moonlight lights up the scroll perfectly! Wait, what’s that? (A map faintly appears on the scroll) It’s a map! That must be what Mint meant! The scroll had to be in the moonlight! I need to follow that map!

(Zoofusa exits)

(Enter Zoofusa in the Zypharoll hills)

Zoofusa: Okay, the map says “find the land that has no map, then go to the place where the foozles stand.” What in the world does that mean? Maybe I can go back and ask Mint. No, I can figure this out on my own. What does “the land that has no map” mean? Where is there a place with no map!? Wait! When Kiroofusa was still alive, she told me about a place called the uncharted territory! Maybe that’s what the scroll means! I should head there now!

(Zoofusa exits)

(Enter Zoofusa in uncharted territory)

Zoofusa: Okay, I am in the uncharted territory! What now?

Voices: Foozle, foozle, foozle, foozle….

Zoofusa: What? Who’s there?

(Enter five foozles)

Foozles: Foozle, foozle, foozle, foozle

Zoofusa: Ah! Who are you?

Parcoozle: I could ask you the same question

Zoofusa: (Casually) I’m Zoofusa. Wait. (Clears throat) (Proudly) I am Zoofusa! Leader of the oofa tribe! Keeper of the clouded creatures of the sky! (silence) (Awkwardly) Anyways, who are you?

Parcoozle: I am Parcoozle, leader of the foozle tribe! This is my second-in-command Shroozle

Shroozle: Hi! I’m Shroozle

Zoofusa: Hi Shroozle

Parcoozle: Shroozle will become leader next year, so she’s receiving a lot of training before she evolves

Zoofusa: Evolves?

Parcoozle: Why yes! As you can see, the leader of the foozles always looks very different from the other foozles

Zoofusa: I can see that…

Parcoozle: This is because of something called “foozle evolution.” After the great battle between the tuk toozles and the foozles, the foozles developed a way to evolve. My great grandfather went to the wikalow tribe and was able to receive a magic effect to that made him look like a mushroom in order to intimidate enemies when in battle. Ever since then, when a foozle becomes leader, they naturally evolve. Shroozle will evolve very soon!

Zoofusa: I remember my mom telling me about the story of the great war of the foozles and tuk toozles! The tuk toozles invaded foozle territory and refused to take it back, and after fourteen days, there was a huge battle between the two tribes!

Parcoozle: You are correct. It’s good to know the history of Mewpurrter.

Zoofusa: Thank you

Parcoozle: Anyway, we got off topic. Why are you in foozle territory?

Zoofusa: Oh, right! I’ve come to the Uncharted Territory in search of something called the Ustinishti stone. I’m wondering if you know anything about it.

Parcoozle: The Ustinishti stone? You mean the one that gives someone the ability to be adored by everyone?

Zoofusa: Yeah. That one.

Parcoozle: I seem to recall hearing about it in these parts, but I’m not sure… 

Shroozle: I think I know

Parcoozle: You do!?

Shroozle: Yeah! I remember exploring the Fire Mines one day, and I saw a very shiny stone in an odd place. I decided not to touch it, and left because I was so young and it scared me.

Parcoozle: And I didn’t know about this!?
Shroozle: I’m sorry but I- (they continue to argue)

Zoofusa: (to self) The Fire Mines? Isn’t that just a bit farther beyond the foozle tribe? Wait! The map said “to the place where the foozles stand.” I must be going in the right place! (to foozles) Thank you!

(Zoofusa exits)

Parcoozle: Where’s he going?

Shroozle: No idea….

(They exit, enter Zoofusa in the Fire Mines)

Zoofusa: Yes, I made it! Now, what did Shroozle say about this place? “I saw a very shiny stone in an odd place...” Hmm, this whole place is odd, what could Shroozle have meant by that? (Zoofusa continues exploring the mines, he comes across a lava waterfall) Wow! That’s so beautiful, it really is warm though. (Zoofusa steps closer to the waterfall) Wait… What’s that? (He looks towards a staircase carved in the stone) Is that a staircase? Maybe that’s what Shroozle meant!

(Zoofusa follows the staircase behind the waterfall, enter Zoofusa behind the waterfall)

Zoofusa: That’s crazy! I wonder what this staircase leads to, there’s absolutely nothing back here. It sure is warm though… (Zoofusa notices a strange carving in the wall) What’s that? (Zoofusa walks over to it) It looks like an ancient symbol, possible thousands of years old… Maybe that’s where the stone is! It was hidden here for thousands of years! (Zoofusa puts a hand on the symbol and it lights up) What’s happening!? Someone help me! 

(There is a bright flash of light, everything turns white and then dark, lights come on and Zoofusa is standing in a stone room with a pillar in the middle of it. Sitting on the pillar is the Ustinishti stone.)

Zoofusa: What happened? Is that what I think it is? (Zoofusa walks up to the stone) It’s the Ustinishti stone! It’s so beautiful! (Silence) What do I do now? Do I just take it? Um… 

(Zoofusa grabs the stone, there is another flash of light and the stage goes dark. The lights come back on and Zoofusa is standing in the Uncharted Territory, he is holding the stone)

Zoofusa: Where am I now!? Wait… I’m back in the Uncharted Territory! (He looks at the stone is his hand) I got it! I got the Ustinishti stone! Now everyone can like me! 

(Zoofusa skips off stage happily, enter Zoofusa in the Oofa Tribe)

Zoofusa: Okay, now I need to figure out how to make this work… Maybe I need to say something… (pause) (speaking dramatically) Oh Ustinishti stone! The parfloompiest stone on all of Mewpurrter! Please answer my prayers, and make every oofa in the Oofa tribe love me! (the stone glows) Hmm… Did it work? I guess I’ll have to find out

(Enter Lulloofusa)

Lulloofusa: Hey Zoofusa!

Zoofusa: Hey!

Lulloofusa: Where did you go off to? I haven’t seen you since you got coronated this morning

Zoofusa: Um… I went on a walk because I was feeling slightly light headed. I guess it was just the overwhelming feeling of being the new leader of the oofa tribe

Lulloofusa: What’s that there (pointing to the stone Zoofusa is holding)

Zoofusa: Uh…  (panicking) just a stone I picked up along my walk

Lulloofusa: It’s really pretty

Zoofusa: I know right?

(Enter Bloofusa and his friends)

Bloofusa: Zoofusa!

Zoofusa: Hi? (clearly taken aback by Bloofusa’s greeting)

Bloofusa: Where were you all day?

Zoofusa: Umm… Taking a walk

Bloofusa: Really? The tribe was so worried!

Zoofusa: Worried!?

Bloofusa: Yeah! We thought something bad happened to you! I couple of friends and I organized a search party to look for you. We were just about to leave, but I saw you and came over here

Zoofusa: (clearly realizing the stone’s effects) Oh! I’m sorry, I’ll go into my cave and then make a statement to the tribe about my return. Sorry I freaked everyone out!

Bloofusa: It’s okay! I can only imagine the stress of being the new leader of the tribe…

Zoofusa: Thanks! I’ll be with everyone in a minute (Zoofusa exits, he enters his cave with the stone) Okay, I need to put this somewhere where no one will find it… (the stone glows and then disappears) Where did it go!? (looking around) do the effects still work? What’s happening?

Bloofusa: Zoofusa, are you okay? I saw a bright flash of light and got worried

Zoofusa: (stuttering) Oh, you must have been imagining things, I’m okay

Bloofusa: Thank goodness, come on! The tribe’s so excited to see you again!

(They both exit, enter)

Narrator: Wow! So much has happened in just one day! Zoofusa found the Ustinishti stone, and now everyone in the tribe likes him. Now that he’s used it, it’s safely returned back to where Zoofusa found it, it’s effects working nonstop. I wonder what stone will be found next… 

(Narrator exits, lights dim)
