Fi- A catem who tries to figure out Roberts hidden identity, friends with Danny

Danny- A catem who also tries to figure out Robert’s hidden identity, friends with Fi and Robert

Robert- A paramecium murderer whose secret identity is Trebor

Jeffrey- A paramecium who was murdered by Trebor

Ivy- Roberts friend, doesn’t believe in Mewpurrter

Lillian- Roberts friend, likes cake

(Danny and Robert enter. They slowly walk across the stage while taking)

Robert: pounce pon pon az emet no az planet called Mewpurrter (once upon a time on a planet called Mewpurrter)

Danny: yay so you are a catem!

Robert: hey you tricked me! You just said to say a Catish sentence

Danny: yes I did trick you, you’ll live. Oh and I made you a present.

Robert: what for?

Danny: Catmess!

Robert: you mean Christmas.

Danny: yeah sure, whatever you call it. Now hold out your hand and close your eyes.

Robert: but I don't want to.

Danny: do it!

(Robert closes his eyes and puts out his hand. Danny takes a handmade bracelet out of esh pocket and puts it on Roberts wrist)

Robert: its beautiful! I love it. Thank you

Danny: no problem. And look

(Danny pulls back her jacket sleeve to show her wrist which has a matching bracelet on it.)

Danny: I made me a matching one. They're friendship bracelets.

Robert: thanks, Danny. I'm going to go to the restroom to see how it looks on me.

Danny: oh okay. I will tell the teacher that you will be a bit late for science

Robert: thanks.

               (Robert exits. Fi enters.)

Danny: hey, Fi.

Fi: so did you give Robert the bracelet?

Danny: yeah. He said he loved it and then went to the bathroom to see how it looked on him.

Fi: okay, let's go to science

       (Danny and Fi exit. Lillian and Ivy enter)

Ivy: did you see that bracelet that Danny just gave Robert?

Lillian: did you see that Danny had a matching one?

Ivy: and there were matching hearts on them. So i guess it's official.

Lillian: what is?

Ivy: that Robert and Danny are in a boyfriend girlfriend kind of relationship

Danny: NO WE ARE NOT! (Danny yells from offstage)

Ivy: FINE! Come on Lillian lets go to science.

Lillian: sure

(Lillian and Ivy exit. Scene switches to science room. Fi and Danny are looking into a microscope in the middle of the stage. Ivy and Lillian are looking into a microscope at the side of the stage)

Danny: Okay, let’s look for some parameciums!

( Fi and Danny start messing around with the microscope)

Fi: Oh look! I found a paramecium! No, two!

Danny: Really? Awesome! Let me see!

Fi: We should name them!

Danny: We can name the first one Jeffrey. But what about the other one?

Fi: (Mutters) That’s weird.

Danny: What’s weird?

Fi: Look, above the other paramecium, there are some weird shapes that look like letters above it!

Danny: Let me look (Danny looks through the microscope) It looks like it spells “Trebor.”

Fi: You’re right! It does!

Danny: I guess that means we’re naming it Trebor!

                               (Robert enters)

Robert: Hi guys!

(Fi and Danny look away from the microscope)

Danny: Oh, hi Robert!

Robert: What are you guys doing?

Danny: Just looking at parameciums.

Robert: Cool, I guess I’ll go look at some with Ivy and Lillian.

(Robert goes over to Ivy and Lillian)

Fi: Okay, let's get back to working.

Danny: Wait! Where is Trebor?

Fi: What do you mean?

Danny: I mean, Jeffreys there, but Trebor is gone!

Fi: Wait, WHAT?

(Danny and Fi keep looking into the microscope panicked)

Fi: How do things like this even happen!?

Danny: I have no idea. Maybe it teleported?

Fi: Maybe. Or maybe its something else….

Danny: Like an evil teleportation?

Fi: Exactly

Danny: Oh, makes sense to me!

Fi: Wait a second!

Danny: What is it?

Fi: Look at Jeffrey!

Danny: (Looks at Jeffrey) Whats wrong with him?

Fi: HE’S NOT MOVING!

Danny: That's weird, he was moving just a second ago….

Fi: What if he’s dead?

Danny: What could have killed him? It was only him and….

Fi and Danny: Trebor.

Danny: You don’t think that Trebor could've killed Jeffrey do you?

Fi: I don’t know, is that even possible?

Danny: To some degree, but not like this.

Teacher: Okay! Class is over!

Danny: We better go now.

                           (Fi and Danny exit)

(Ivy, Lillian, and Robert slowly walk across the stage)

Ivy: Did you hear Fi and Danny screaming during science?

Lillian: Yeah, it was pretty weird

Robert: It’s probably nothing, they usually go around screaming about something

Lillian: True

                   (Ivy, Lillian, and Robert exit)

                         (Enter Danny and Fi)

Danny: we should probably go to the bathroom and change into those onesies.

Fi: oh yeah. Then everyone will say that we are wearing the best pajamas!

Danny: yeah! But there are only a few kids wearing pajama today

Fi: yeah. I don’t really understand why.

Danny: yeah really! I mean it's pajama day!

Fi: okay, then let's not be like the people who aren't wearing pajamas and go put on our onesies

   (Danny and Fi exit. Scene switches to bathroom. There is a mirror on one side that has the word Trebor on it and on the other side there is a mirror that reflects the first mirror)

                         (Danny and Fi enter)

Fi: what. Is. that.

Danny: what in the name of cats happened!

Fi: I have no idea!

Danny: Wait! Do you see what is says on the mirror?

Fi: What?

Danny: It says Trebor!

Fi: But that's the paramecium

Danny: Which means that he must have killed Jeffrey!

Fi: We should go tell this to the teachers

Danny: I don’t think they would believe us

Fi: True….Then they’ll have to find out about it themselves

Danny: wait hold on a second.

Fi: what is it?

Danny: I can't believe we didn't realize this!

Fi: what!?

Danny: look at that other mirror. It's reflecting the word Trebor. And Trebor spelled backwards is

Danny and Fi: Robert

(Danny quickly walks across the stage and starts flipping through a sign in sheet on the wall)

Fi: what are you doing?

Danny: the sign in sheet. You have to sign in when you come into the bathroom. And just as I expected, Robert is the only person who has been in here today.

Fi: lets go. We can talk about this later.

                           (Fi and Danny exit)

                  (Enter Ivy, Lillian, and Robert)

Lillian: It’s finally time for lunch!

Ivy: Let's sit down

             (Ivy, Lillian, and Robert sit at a table)

     (Enter Fi and Danny, they sit at the same table)

Danny: Hi guys!

Robert: Hi!

Teacher: It’s mix it up Monday! Robert, move to the table next to you

Robert: Fine….

Teacher: Okay, enjoy lunch!

Danny: Noooooooooooo!

Fi: You’ll be okay

Lillian: I don’t feel welcome here I’m leaving! (Lillian moves to a different table)

Ivy: Well, I don’t want to be stuck with the two cat obsessed people (Ivy moves to a different table)

Fi: Well now it’s just the two of us again

Danny: I guess you’re right

Fi: That means we can talk about Trebor!

Danny: That was probably a coincidence!

Fi: That would be an extremely weird coincidence….

Danny: True           

Fi: I just don't get it. How could Robert f turned into a paramecium, murdered Jeffrey, and still be in science

Danny: that it!

Fi: what's it?

Danny: what if he wasn't in science

Fi: what are you talking about?

Danny: Robert went to the bathroom right before Science class and right when he came back is when we realized Jeffrey was dead.

Fi: but why would Robert do something like that?

Danny: it's not like him at all. We will just have to wait a bit longer and see what happens.

(Danny and Fi exit. Ivy walks across the stage carrying a sign that says “the next day in science.” Scene switches to science room. Danny and Fi are looking into a microscope in the middle of the stage. Lillian and Ivy are looking into a microscope at the side of the stage)

Danny: Trebor is back

Fi: yep. And Jeffrey's still dead

Danny: Roberts not here. He probably went to the bathroom and then turned into Trebor again.

Fi: hmmm. Let's go to the bathroom and see if he is there.

Danny: okay

            (Danny and Fi begin to leave)

Teacher: where are you two going?

Danny: bathroom

Teacher: oh okay.

(Danny and Fi exit. Scene switches to bathroom. The mirrors are clear and do not have any writing on them anymore. Danny and Fi enter)

Fi: the writing is gone

Danny: where is he

       (the mirrors break and Robert enters)

Robert: Danny! What are you doing here?

Danny: I could ask you the same thing.

Robert: leave.

Fi: we came here to tell you to come back to class.

Danny: yes. You never finished taking the notes on the parameciums

Robert: why are you two so obsessed with these stupid parameciums! Trebor killed Jeffrey. Jeffrey's dead. Blah blah blah.

Danny: what are you talking about? We never mentioned Trebor or Jeffrey in front of you…

Fi: how did you know that…

Robert: I….I overheard you two in class.

Danny: oh… okay. Let's go Fi. We should get back to class

Fi: but what about Robert?

Danny: forget him. Let's go

         (Fi and Danny exit)

Robert: how dare they! They will have to die. No I can't kill Danny. No I have to. No I don't. Yes I do.

(Robert exits. Scene switches to lunch room. Danny and Fi enter. Lillian, Ivy, and Robert are sitting at a table at the other side of the room. Danny and Fi go sit with them)

Danny: hi

Robert: hey! So how was science? Did you find any more parameciums?

(Danny and Fi look at eachother)

Danny: uh… we saw Trebor

Lillian: I don’t feel welcome. I’m leaving

(Lillian exits)

Ivy: I’m going with Lillian. Bye

(Ivy leaves)

Robert: bye. Wait who is Trebor?

Fi: the paramecium we saw? Remember you said his name when we came to bring you back to class?

Robert: oh. I don’t remember that.

Danny: what did you do during science?

Robert: I found parameciums with Lillian and Ivy. Then I went to go get water and then I came back to class and then we went to lunch. Why?

Danny: just wondering…

(Robert exits)

Fi: Well that was weird

Danny: He doesn’t remember anything from when we saw him in the bathroom!

Fi: Why though?

Danny: I’m not sure….

                            (Fi and Danny exit)

   (Ivy enters carrying a sign that says “That Friday”)

        (Enter Lillian, Robert, Ivy, Danny, and Fi)

Ivy: Uh! It’s silent meeting

Lillian: I like cake

Robert: We are aware of that Lillian….

Lillian: I like many varieties of cake

Robert: I’m done with this

(Robert walks over to Danny and Fi)

Danny: Tired of Ivy and Lillian?

Robert: Yup

Danny: That makes sense

Teacher: Everyone line up!

(Robert jumps in front of Danny and Lillian pushes Ivy out of the way and gets in the front of the line)

Teacher: Now walk silently

                                 (Everyone exits)

               (Everyone enters and sits down in a pew)

Robert: (Whispering) Can I go to the bathroom?

Teacher: Sure

     (Fi and Danny look at eachother with wide eyes)

Danny:(Whispering) If that’s not suspicious, I don’t know what is

Fi:(Whispering) What do we do?

Danny:(Whispering) I’m not sure

(There is a fifteen second Ouse of silence and then there is a loud crash like breaking glass off stage. And everyone screams and jumps up)

Danny: WHAT!

Fi: why did that chandelier just fall?

(The lights quickly flick off and then on again)

Danny: this is weird…..

Fi: Robert!

Danny: Trebor!

Fi and Danny: it was Robert in the form of Trebor!

Teacher: okay calm down everyone and let’s just sit back down and finish silent meeting

(All the kids sit back down and Robert enters walks over and sits down next to Danny. Danny and Fi look at each other)

Fi:(whispering) so suspicious

Danny: extremely (whispering)(Everyone exits. Danny, Robert, and Fi enter)

Danny: so..um, Robert? Did you hear that chandelier fall?

Robert: huh?

Fi: the chandelier that fell during silent meeting. You were in the bathroom when it fell but you still should have heard it.

Robert: oh yeah! The chandelier that fell. That was insane!

Danny: yeah…

Robert: okay well we have got to get to Language Arts. Let’s go

Fi: you go ahead. We’ll catch up.

Robert: okay..

            (Robert exits)

Fi: he did it.

Danny: he made the chandelier fall…

Fi: this is not good

Danny: whenever he goes into the bathroom he gets turned into Trebor and loses control of himself. He’s already killed Jeffrey and now he made a chandelier fall. And for all we know the chandelier was meant to kill someone. So if that’s true what will he do next?

Fi: did you notice how that chandelier fell on the opposite side of the room from us?

Danny: yeah…. wait your not suggesting that… no it couldn’t be…

Fi: maybe it could…

Danny: your saying that he’s doing it willingly?

Fi: no way. We both know Robert and he would never do that. He is totally getting possessed. But the fact that that chandelier fell as far away from you, his best friend, than it could have is either a total coincidence or..

Danny: or he has a little bit of control over himself when he’s being possessed.

Fi: exactly.

Danny: let’s go to Language Arts. We will figure out more later.

Fi: okay but if he goes into the bathroom again. Run.

Danny: got it.

(Danny and Fi exit. Robert enter and sits down at his desk. Danny and Fi enter and sit down at their desks. All the other students enter and sit down at the desks too)

Teacher: okay class, today is a silent reading day. Get out your books and read please.

(Robert gets up and walks over to the teacher then whispers something to the teacher and walks out of the classroom. Fi and Danny look at eachother. Fi raises her hand)

Teacher: yes, Fi?

Fi: Danny and I have to go to the..bathroom

Teacher: both of you?

Danny: i have to go get water. Fi has to go to the bathroom.

Teacher: okay..

   (Danny and Fi get up and walk out of the room. They walk down the hallway towards the bathroom, but as they do the lights flicker off and there is a locking sound and the screaming of some kids. Danny runs back to the door they just came out of and tries to open it but its locked)

(The intruder alarm goes off)

Danny: That’s the intruder alarm!

Fi: All of the doors are locked! We can’t go anywhere!

Danny: Do you think that it was Trebor?

Fi: It has to be!

Danny: Where do we go? I don’t think we can face him yet

Fi: Why not?

Danny: We still need to learn more about why and how he’s being possessed

Fi: Good point

(Loud footsteps are heard from the end of the hallway and low, dark singing from Trebor)

Trebor:(offstage. singing) awoosh, awoosh, awoosh, awoosh. Nac aye ki, nac mew ki, nac eww ki. Awoosh, awoosh, awoosh, awoosh.

Fi: Run!

(Danny and Fi run to the bathrooms)

Danny: Why are we in the bathroom? He’s probably heading for here right now!

Fi: Oops….

(The door opens and Robert enters, he doesn’t see Danny and Fi in the stalls)

Robert: I know you two are in here

Danny: (Whispering) We need to find a place that he doesn’t know how to get two

Fi: (Whispering) The basement under the auditorium 

Danny: Okay, let’s go

(Danny and Fi burst out of the stal and run out the door to the door next to Mr. Pride's room, which leads to the curtains on the stage)

Fi: Jump!

(Fi and Danny jump through the curtains onto the stage)

Danny: We need the key!

Fi: It’s in the storage room!

(Fi and Danny run to the storage room)

Danny: The doors locked!

Fi: I have a hairpin! (She grabs a hairpin)

Danny: Let me try this (She wiggles the hairpin in the door and they hear a clicking sound) You’re welcome

Fi: Let’s go!

(Danny grabs the key and they run to the doors to the basement)

Robert: Where are you two?

Fi: Unlock the door!

(Danny puts the key in the door and they run downstairs)

Danny: I think we’re safe

Fi: What just happened?

Danny: I have no idea

Fi: Do we just wait down here?

Danny: I guess….

 (there are footsteps sounding from the floor above them)

Fi: (whisper) oh no…

Danny: (whisper) he's getting closer..

Fi: (whisper) he's coming down the stairs

Danny: (whisper) hide!

(Danny and Fi run and hide behind the clutter in the room. Trebor enters)

Trebor: i know you are here! And i will find you.

(trebor walks across the stage near to where Fi is hiding and grabs her arm and pulls her out of her hiding space. Danny jumps from her hiding spot and runs toward them)

Danny: NO! Robert, please don't do this! Killing Fi won't help.

Trebor: i am not robert.

         (Fi runs and stands next to Danny)

Fi: if your not robert then who are you?

Trebor: you would not understand.

Danny: so. You can still tell us who you are!

Trebor: in this body i am Trebor. The opposite of Robert, the boy i have possessed. On the planet i come from i am known as Max. i am a sorceress on that planet but two brothers named Rosie and Daisy killed me. They took away my powerful crown and all of my power.

Fi: then why are you alive?

trebor: they thought they killed me. And they did kill my body, but my spirit is still alive. I traveled far and will take over your planet called Earth and all the inhabitants of it. Since rosie and Daisy killed my body i am forced to possess the souls of humans.

Danny: i don't care if you do take over earth!

Trebor: wait what?

Danny: just leave my friend out of it.

Fi: you better get out of roberts body or Danny is going to get mad. And you don't want to see Danny when she's mad.

Trebor: this body is weak anyway. You can have it, but know that i will come back. I will possess the soul of someone stronger and then take over earth. MAX WILL RETURN!

(there is a wind sound as if Max is leaving Robert's body. Robert begins to fall but Danny catches him)

Danny: do you think he's okay?

Fi: i don't know.

(they lay robert on the ground and check his pulse to make sure his heart is still beating)

Danny: well he's still alive at least.

(robert sits up coughing and then looks around confused)

Robert: (cough) what (cough) happened?

Danny: i'll tell you later.

Fi: come on. Everyone will be wondering where we are.

 (Danny and Fi help robert up and they all exit together)
