Narrator: once upon a time on a planet called Mewpurrter there were two brothers named Rosie and Daisy. From past stories one might think Mewpurrter is a magical and wonderful land where nothing bad can happen. That is not completely true…. On Mewpurrter there are usually happy endings but not very happy beginnings…

(Rosie and Daisy enter into Mewpurrter Enchanted Forest)

(thunder crashes)

Daisy: where….where are we?

(more thunder crashes)

Daisy: ahhhh!

Rosie: i...i don't know where we are

Daisy: we were just at home with mom and.. And…. and now we're here….. In this scary forest

Rosie: no don't think about mom. She left us here. We might as well just forget about her.

Daisy: yes you are right but what should we do? Where should we go?

Rosie: i'm not sure

(thunder stops and lights get brighter)

Daisy: oh great! It stopped raining!

Rosie: where are we?

Daisy: i'm not sure. It looks like… OH i think we are in The Enchanted Forest!

Rosie: oh yeah! I've heard of The Enchanted Forest before! i've also heard about a small village that is supposed to be next to The Enchanted Forest! I think it's called Kitty Town no.. kitten town!

Daisy: okay let's go see if we can find the town.

Rosie: okay. Sounds good!

(Rosie and Daisy exit)

(Narrator enters)

Narrator: Rosie and Daisy were abandoned as kits. They were only about two months old at the time. which is about two in cat years.

(Narrator exits. Rosie and daisy enter into kitten town)

Rosie: we found it!

Daisy: yay!!! So what do we do now….?

Rosie: let’s go ask someone.

(Rosie walks up to a person and taps them on the shoulder)

Rosie: hi! Could you please help us we were wondering where we could—

(The person walks away)

Rosie: rude!

Daisy: don’t worry about it.

(Bells sound in the distance)

Daisy: what’s going on?

Rosie: let’s go find out.

(Rosie and daisy exit. Narrator enters)

Narrator: they walked to town square…

(Narrator exits. Rosie and daisy enter into a crowd of people)

king:(into mic) hello. Hello. Is this working? Yeah okay.

(king clears his throat)

king: hello! Cats, Oofas, any other species who has found themselves amongst us today. Now, please don’t panic, but there is a monster approaching kitten town at the moment.

Townes person: what is this monster?!?

king: some of you may know of them. It is the wild… ki-turkey!

(Gasps)

king: I know. It’s hard to imagine such a horrible monster coming towards our town.

Townes person: how do you know this monster is coming?

king: one of the Townes people was walking in the woods yesterday and saw them. They said they heard them talking about coming to kitten town. Our town.

Townes person: who saw them?

king: that information cannot be disclosed.

Rosie: what’s so bad about a ki-turkey?

(Gasps)

king: my dear child. Do you not know the tale.. the tale of the ki-turkey rampage!

Daisy: no. Me and my brother don’t know that story.

king: once there was a leader of the ki-turkey tribe living in the Muji mountains. Before then ki-turkeys were living in peace with us, but then one day this leader, her name was Ooshaki, she came into kitten town with her ki-turkey army behind her. They looked at us with there evil grins. And laughed at our scared faces. (The king shudders) it was too horrifying to imagine.

Daisy: uh…. that sounds like they just came into town and smiled at you…

Rosie: yeah…

king: no! The ki-turkeys are formidable creatures and do not deserve to live among us!

Rosie: okay. Whatever. So can anyone tell us where we can stay for the night?

Townes person: you think that ki-turkeys aren't bad! You can stay in the forest!

Other townes people: yeah!

Daisy: fine! Let's go, Rosie. They aren't worthy of our presence.

Rosie: right.

(rosie and daisy exit. Townes people and king exit from opposite direction. Narrator enters)

Narrator: will rosie and daisy ever go back to kitten town?

(narrator exits. Rosie and daisy enter)

Daisy: i guess we can sleep out here in the woods

Rosie: great! I love sleeping in the forest with no tent, sleeping bags, food, or a fire!(sarcastically)

Daisy: lets just make the best of it.

(rosie and daisy lie down and go to sleep. Narrator enters)

Narrator: the next morning…

(narrator exits. Sun rises, rosie and daisy wake up)

Rosie: (yawn) good morning.

Daisy: good morning. Did you sleep well?

Rosie: just great! Cause if just sleeping on the ground wasn't enough i even got to use a rock as a pillow!(sarcastic)

(someone screams from offstage)

Daisy: what was that!?!

Townes person: ki-turkey!!!! (offstage)

Rosie: let's go check it out.

(rosie and daisy exit. Townes people enter with pepperetta who stands opposite from them. The townes people are pointing at pepperetta and screaming “ki-turkey! Ki-turkey.” rosie and daisy enter)

Rosie: what are you idiots screaming about!?!

Townes person: get away from it! It will kill you!

Daisy: you are talking to rosie and daisy! Nothing can kill us!

(townes people continue to scream)

Daisy: fine! We will resolve this!

Townes person: don't go near it! Don't risk your lives!!

Rosie: i think we’ll be fine

(rosie and daisy walk over to Pepperetta and take her aside)

Daisy: hi! My names daisy.

Rosie: and i'm rosie.

Daisy: we’re twin brothers

Rosie: so what are you doing here?

Pepperetta: i..i.. I wanted to run away from my tribe. Our soon to be new leader was born a month ago and i can't stand him! So i had to get out of that awful tribe before he became leader

Daisy: what's your name?

Pepperetta: my names Pepperetta. I come from the ki-turkey tribe in the Muji mountains, lead by Krisa. And soon to be led by (says disgustedly:) Lord Roberto

Rosie: how old are you?

Pepperetta: I'm 1 and a half months old.

Daisy: oh so you're about our age! We’re two months old.

Pepperetta: oh okay. So can you please help me? I don't know why these people are acting so scared. I didn't do anything wrong.

Daisy: dont worry. We’ll handle it.

(rosie and daisy turn and confront the group of terrified people)

Daisy: (clears throat) my fellow cats, catems, humans…

(no one is listening)

Rosie: Shut up!!!

(townes people turn toward daisy)

Daisy: me and my brother have reasoned with the ki-turkey. All she wants is to live among us for she no longer lives with her ki-tukey tribe

Rosie: so stop being scared of the kid and actually be nice for a change!

Daisy: is it okay if she comes and lives here?

Townes person: rosie and daisy saved us!

Townes people: yayyyyyyy!!!!

(king comes out of the crowd)

king: for your bravery against the ki-turkey i want to name you our new kings.

Townes people: (cheers of happiness)

Daisy: wow!

Rosie: kings! Do we like get to live in a castle and stuff!?!

(rosie and daisy begin to follow townes people off. They stop and come back over to pepperetta)

Daisy: well are you coming?

Rosie: we can find some place for you to stay.

Pepperetta: sure.

(pepperetta, rosie, and daisy exit. Narrator enters)

Narrator: and so our story has a happy ending, for now. Rosie and daisy found a nice house for Pepperetta and then got there very own castle built at the edge of Kitten Town, next to the Muji mountains.

(rosie and daisy enter)

Rosie: wow! We get to live here! Our very own castle! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

(rosie runs around in a circle and then runs off)

Narrator: a year and a half later....

(narrator exits. Rosie enters)

Rosie: hey Daisy!?

Daisy: yeah?

Rosie: do you believe in the Jabereep stone?

Daisy: no…..

(blackout. Everyone enters. Lights come back up. Bows are taken)
