Characters:
Danny- The main(ish) character in the play, believes that Robert is not dead
Fi- Danny’s friend, other main(ish) character, weirdly wants Robert dead
Onietta- A Ki-turkey from Mewpurrter, stole Robert
Pepperetta- Another Ki-turkey from Mewpurrter, helped steal Robert
Max- An evil sorceress who lives on Mewpurrter, who sent Pepperetta and Onietta to kidnap Robert
Robert- An innocent child who didn’t believe in Mewpurrter, in return, got kidnapped Pepperetta and Onietta

(Robert’s dead body is on the ground in his basement. There is crime scene tape around it. Narrator enters)
Narrator: once upon a time on a planet called Mewpurrter… there were two sisters named Pepperetta and Onietta. You are probably wondering how two ki-turkeys are relevant to this play. You will have to wait and Find out..
(narrator exits. 2 police ofFicers enter)
Police 1: so what is the case?
Police 2: the boys name is Robert. He’s 13 and in 7th grade. Yesterday night he came down to the basement to get a dog leash so he could walk his dog. We aren't sure of specifics but something came into the basement and did this. His parents came down to see what was taking him so long and found him like this. That's all we know.
Police 1: we should move his body out of the scene.
Police 2: yes we should. Help me.
(the two police ofFicers walk over and lift up Robert’s body. They carry it offstage)
(scene switches to a clear area with Robert’s body laying on a table in the center. Danny and Fi enter. Robert’s mom is already on stage crying)
Danny: Fi?
Fi: yes?
Danny: why did this happen!
Fi: i don't know, Danny.
(the two police officers enter. Robert’s mom stands up)
Robert’s mom: did you figure out anything?!?
Police 1: no..
police 2: sorry
(Robert’s mom sits back down in her chair in the corner of the room)
Robert’s mom: it's okay. You are trying your best
(Danny walks over and stands looking down at Robert’s body. Fi comes and joins her)
Danny: huh? Who is this?
Police 2: Robert
Danny: no it isn't
Police 1: what do you mean it isn't?
Danny: this isn't Robert!
(Robert’s mom walks over)
Robert’s mom: i know you were one of his good friends and that your really upset, i know i am, but you need to accept that Robert’s gone
Danny: no! This isn't Robert! Robert’s eyes aren't that color. Those eyes are dark green. Robert’s eyes are a lighter green than that.
Police 1: sometimes people's eye color changes when they die
Danny: NO! That's not Robert!
Fi: Danny, lets go.
(Fi takes Danny's hand and leads her off. Scene switches to a empty stage only with a bench in the middle. Fi and Danny enter and sit down on the bench)
Danny: that's not Robert. I know it.
Fi: how are you so sure?
Danny: i can just feel it. I know he's still alive
Fi: dang it! I mean… yayyyyy (says unenthusiastically)
Danny: the police won't believe us. Even Robert’s own mom thinks that's him. We have to figure out where he is
Fi: we?
Danny: well, only if you think he's still alive. If you don't then i'll find him myself
Fi: i know he's still alive. I can feel it too. Its like something isn't right. There's something weird, maybe unearthly, about this
Danny: i think so too. Lets go!
(Danny and Fi exit. Narrator enters)
Narrator: i wonder where they are going?
(narrator exits. Danny and Fi enter into Robert's basement)
Danny: so this is where.. Something.. Happened
Fi: yep
Danny: but where? Who?
Fi: i don't.. Wait what's that?
(Fi walks over and grabs a ki-turkey feather off the ground from behind a box)
Danny: its.. Its a feather?
Fi: yeah, but what kind?
Danny: it looks like (takes feather from Fi and examines it) a turkey feather? No.. no turkey feathers have a different texture
Fi: your right, but what else could it be?
Danny: look! There's another one outside the door!
Fi: let's follow them!
(Danny and Fi exit. Narrator enters)
Narrator: but they didn't find themselves where they thought they would.. They found themselves in..
(narrator exits. Danny and Fi enter)
Danny: Ruby's basement!?
Fi: why are we in Ruby's basement?!
Danny: i don't know.
(Ruby enters)
Ruby: um.. Hey. why are you guys in my basement? And more importantly, how did you get into my basement?
Fi: Danny picked the lock.
Ruby: figures. But still, why are you here?
Danny: you know about how Robert was killed the other day?
Ruby: (sadly) yeah.. I do.
Fi: we dont think hes actually dead.
Danny: we think it was framed.
Fi: and we tracked the people who framed him to here.
Ruby: my basement?
Danny: yeah.
(there is a glowing light from behind a pile of boxes)
Danny: ah!
Fi: what is that!?
Ruby: danny, go see what it is.
Danny: why me?
Fi: cause you’re brave.
Danny: fine.
(Danny walks over and moves the boxes to reveal a portal)
Danny: huh?
Fi: what?
Ruby: ah!
(Danny throws the feather in and it disappears)
Danny: what is this!?! Why did that feather just go though this and not come back!? There is supposed to be a wall here!
Fi: try putting your hand in.
(Danny sticks her hand in the portal and then takes it out)
Danny: how is that possible!?
Fi: should we go in?
Danny: it’s a clue. It might lead us to Robert. so.. I guess we should.
Ruby: well, it looks like Kittygirl and Puppyboy are going on another adventure, right Danny?
Danny: i guess. But we don't have our costumes with us.
Ruby: we can just go without them.
Danny: okay. But remember, we can't give away our secret identities.
Ruby: don’t worry, we won't. So, you ready to go Kittygirl?
Danny: definitely, Puppyboy.
Fi: (takes deep breath) goodbye world
(Fi runs and jumps through the portal. Danny follows her with Ruby behind her. Narrator enters)
Narrator: i guess this just turned into another adventure of Kittygirl and Puppyboy, but this time there manager, Fi, is tagging along too. Anyway, Danny, Fi, and Ruby went through the magical portal to the unknown world of Mewpurrter..
(narrator exits. Danny, Ruby, and Fi run in and fall on the ground next to each other)
Fi: ow!
(Danny grabs the ki-turkey feather)
Danny: oh look. It’s the weird feather thing
Ruby: weird feather thing?
Fi: it's the only clue we have.
(Fi, Ruby, and Danny stand up)
Danny: there all over the place
(they all look around at all the ki-turkey feathers on the ground. Ruby runs over and points at the trail of feathers leading away)
Ruby: look! The trail leads this way
Fi: it looks as if whoever left the feathers was hurt. Like someone was fighting them the whole way and making some of there…
Danny, Fi, and Ruby: Robert!
Danny: whoever dropped these feathers must have Robert!
Ruby: then we follow the feathers!
(Fi, Ruby, and Danny march offstage, following the trail of feathers)
(Enter Onietta and Pepperetta carrying Robert)
Robert: What are you? Let me go!
Onietta: Be quiet!
Pepperetta: We can’t let anyone hear us
Robert: What are you doing!?
Pepperetta: Taking you to Max’s evil lair
Robert: Umm…. What is that?
Onietta: This!
(They stand in front of Max’s evil lair)
Pepperetta: now, we must hurry, Max is waiting for us.
Robert: max?
Onietta: stop asking questions
(onietta, pepperetta, and Robert exit. Narrator enters)
Narrator: meanwhile across mewpurrter Rosie and Daisy were going for a walk….
(narrator enters. Enter rosie and daisy)
Rosie: ah.. What a wonderful day on Mewpurrter
Daisy: yes. It's a wonderful.. What's that?
Rosie: what?
Daisy: that.. Over there in the distance. Wait i think…. Those are...
(Enter Danny, Ruby, and Fi)
Daisy: Humans!
Rosie: humans!
Danny, Ruby, and Fi: what?
Daisy: you are humans…
Rosie: weird…
Danny: and you are walking… cats?….
Fi: weird….
Daisy: what are you doing here? Humans don't usually venture into this part of Mewpurrter.
Ruby: mewpurrter?
Fi: what's Mewpurrter?
Rosie: what's mewpurrter? Well it's this planet that you are on right now.
Ruby and Fi: oh.
Rosie: so why are you here? And how did you get here?
Danny: we came here through a portal in a basement on the planet called Earth.
Fi: we thought our friend from Earth had gotten killed, but then we concluded that it had been framed and someone had kidnapped him…
Ruby: and we tracked the kidnapper through the portal and through these mountains.
Daisy: interesting.
Rosie: we would help you, but we are on our way to the oofa tribe right now.
Danny: oofa tribe?
Daisy: oofas are a species that live here on mewpurrter.
Fi: oh!
Rosie: good luck Finding your friend. Goodbye!
Danny, Ruby, and Fi: bye!
Daisy: bye!
(rosie and daisy exit)
Danny: lets go. The trail of feathers leads this way!
(Danny, Ruby, and Fi exit following the feathers. Narrator enters)
Narrator: Danny, Ruby and Fi set off across the land of Mewpurrter, not knowing what they would stumbleupon.
(narrator exits. Onietta, Pepperetta enter with Robert)
Robert: what is this place?
Onietta: it’s the top of Max’s tower. She should be here soon.
(max’s ghost enters)
Max: good, you captured him.
Pepperetta: yep, now where’s the money you promised us?
Max: (takes out some money) here.
(max hands the money to pepperetta)
Onietta: okay, goodbye.
Max: remeber, you tell anyone about this or that i'm alive and i’ll kill you.
Pepperetta: don’t worry.
Onietta: we won’t.
(onietta and pepperetta exit)
Max: hello.
Robert: um.. hi?
Max: I have a job for you. You are going to go to wherever Rosie and Daisy are at the moment and steal the Jabereep Stone from them.
Robert: why can't you go steal it from them?
Max: because they can't know that i'm still alive… well not alive exactly since im a ghost, but that i still exist.
Robert: okay. And afterward i can go home right?
Max: (laughs) home? Your kidding me, right? You’re going to stay here and help me take over Mewpurrter by doing anything I ask of you. Your family already think you're dead anyway.
Robert: what?!
Max: we framed your death. To them you are dead now.
Robert: and what if i don't do what you say?
Max: then i'll kill you.
(danny, Ruby and Fi run in)
Danny: stop right there!
Fi: give us back Robert!
Max: never!
Ruby: why not?!
Danny: wait a second…
Fi: you’re…
Danny and Fi: Max!
Max: you two! How did you get here!?
Ruby and Robert: wait what!?
Danny: this is that thing that came to Earth a year ago and took control of Robert and turned him into that monster, Trebor.
Ruby: you mean last year when all that weird stuff happened at school and then there was an intruder alarm and you three went missing?!
Fi: yeah.
Robert: i don't remember that!
Ruby: why doesn't he remember that?
Danny: he lost his memory of it since Max took control of him.
Ruby: oh! That makes sense!
Max: Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Get out of my tower, all of you!
Fi: no!
Danny: not without Robert!
Max: why do you care about him so much?!
Ruby: because he’s our friend, now give him back!
Max: okay, fine.
(Max starts walking towards Ruby, Danny, and Fi with Robert. But when she gets halfway towards them she pushes him off the side of the tower)
Robert: (offstage) ahhhhh!
(there is a thud sound and everyone except max rushes over to the side)
Fi: you killed him!
Ruby: how could you do that!
Danny: you monster!
Max: oops. Now get out of my tower before i push you over too.
Fi: come on guys, let’s go.
(fi, Ruby, and Danny exit)
Max: (looks over edge of tower) I’m so sorry Robert. I didn’t mean to actually kill anyone, I just needed someone to get the Jabereep stone for me. I don’t know why i did that.
(Max exits. Narrator enters)
Narrator: wow.. I guess in the end Robert really did end up dead. Back on Earth Danny, Ruby, and Fi were arriving back at Ruby's basement through the portal.
(narrator exits. Ruby, Danny, and Fi enter sadly)
Ruby: we.. we failed. Kittygirl and Puppyboy… failed..
Fi: robert.. Is dead. Like actually dead.
Danny: i can't believe that we didn't save him..
Fi: no! Everyone thought he was dead. We didn’t make anything worse that people already thought it was. I do feel bad, of course i feel bad. But we cant let this mess up our lives!
Danny: you’re right!
Ruby: i.. I guess.
Fi: im leaving.
Danny and Ruby: bye.
(fi exits)
Ruby: Danny, listen. I don’t think this is working out.
Danny: what the heck are you talking about?
Ruby: i don't want to be Puppyboy anymore.
Danny: what!?
Ruby: i just.. I just can't believe i let someone die.
Danny: but.. But..
Ruby: im sorry.
(ruby starts to walk away)
Ruby: wait, this is my house.
Danny: do you want me to leave?
Ruby: yeah, kinda.
Danny: were still friends right?
Ruby: of course!
Danny: (trying to sound cheerful) okay. Bye.
Ruby: bye.
(Danny exits. Rubys stands there for a second and then exits from the opposite direction)
