Catish Part 2

Characters:

• Rosie: somewhat evil cat who has the jabereep stone

• Daisy: somewhat evil cat who wants the jabereep stone

• Max: thought to be dead max. Comes back by stealing the jabereep stone and becoming immortal

(narrators enters)

Narrator 1: once upon a time on a planet called mewpurrter there lived two brothers named rosie and daisy.

Narrator 2: three years ago they had stolen the jabereep stone from an evil sorceress named max

Narrator 1: the jabereep stone is a stone that can make someone live forever

Narrator 2: but only if the person in possession of it has it on them at all times.

Narrator 1: but that rule only matters after the person exceeds there lifespan.

Narrator 2: like max. She had had the stone for a hundred years but her species only lives for about sixty years usually, so when rosie and daisy stole the stone from her she disintegrated

Narrator 1: although, sometimes there is a small side effect to this happening….

(max's soul enters)

Narrator 2: this is the soul of max

Narrator 1: yep that's right! When max disintegrated her soul became a ghost instead of going to the afterlife.

Narrator 2: but rosie and daisy were too busy celebrating to notice that max didn't die.

Narrator 1: it's been three years since they obtained the Jabereep stone and they still think max is dead. On the journey back from Max's lair they spent some time with one of their friends and met with the rulers of other kingdoms. So they are actually just arriving back from Max's lair right now…..

(narrators exit. Rosie and daisy enter. Rosie is carrying the Jabereep stone)

Daisy: so what are we supposed to do with the jabereep stone?

Rosie: what do you mean?

Daisy: well we both own it, but you can only live forever if you have it on you at all times. And we both can wear it forever.

Rosie: well i am the cat who said we should go on the adventure to find it. So shouldn't i keep it?

Daisy: well i'm the cat who went to max's lair and saved you

Rosie: i could have saved myself

Daisy: (sarcastic) sure

Rosie: whatever. I should still get the stone since it was my idea to go find it.

Daisy: how long do Mewpurrter cats live?

Rosie: about ninety years

Daisy: and were five right?

Rosie: yeah

Daisy: so we don't have to worry about who gets the Jabereep stone for about another eighty five years.

Rosie: yeah your right.

Daisy: so lets just put it in a glass case in between our flowers in the flower room.

Rosie: fine. I guess we can do that….

Daisy: okay. I'll go put in it the glass case

(Daisy takes the crown and exits)

Rosie: i'm coming too!

(rosie runs off. Max's ghost enters)

Max: So rosie and daisy are putting the jabereep stone in their flower room. Hmmm…

(max's ghost exits. Rosie and daisy enter)

Rosie: okay! The stone is safely put away in the flower room. Now um.. I have to go do something so..

Daisy: so do i… so….. Wait what are you going to do?

Rosie: i could ask you the same thing…

(they look at each other suspiciously and then exit. Lord roberto enters)

Lord roberto: la la la la la la la (while prancing around the stage)

(rosie enters holding a bouquet of flowers)

Rosie: AH! Who are you?

Lord roberto: i am lord roberto. Leader of the ki-tukey tribe. Who are you? Wait youre a cat!

Rosie: yes.. Yes i am a cat

Lord roberto: gross

Rosie: what's wrong with being a cat!

Lord roberto: i was always taught how horrible cats were as a child! ..but you don't seem that horrible

Rosie: who taught you that cats are horrible!?

Lord roberto: my father. He was captured by a cat before i was born. And he never came back

Rosie: oh.. I'm sorry, but no worries. I'm not that kind of cat. i am rosie. Ruler or Kitten town.

Lord roberto: ah yes! Kitten town! That's right on the other side of these mountains. Right?

Rosie: yeah. My castle is right down from the big hill on the other part of the Muji mountains.

Lord roberto: then what are you doing all the way over here?

Rosie: nothing…

Lord roberto: and why do you have that bouquet of flowers?

Rosie: no reason…

Lord roberto: you can tell me. I know that most people don't trust ki-turkeys but you can trust me.

Rosie: … to be honest… i'm here to pay respects.

Lord roberto: to who?

(rosie walks across the stage and stands next to a little stone that has the word “MAX!” carved into it)

Rosie: to Max. She was an evil sorceress who captured me a while ago. Me and my brother, Daisy, killed her, i know Daisy wouldn't like it since he hates Max, but i thought i should make a little gravestone for her, so i come here and leave flowers every once in a while.

Lord roberto: what? But i come here like everyday and i've never seen you before.

Rosie: okay i might have made the stone yesterday, when Daisy and I camped out near here on our journey back, while Daisy was asleep, and this is the first time i've brought flowers to it.. But you can't prove anything!

Lord roberto: (laughs) okay.

(rosie puts the flowers next to the rock)

Rosie: wait you said your name was lord roberto, right?

Lord roberto: yeah. You can call me roberto if you want

Rosie: okay, roberto, what are you doing here?

Lord roberto: sometimes i just need a break. You know. Cause being leader is a lot of work

Rosie: yeah. I know what you mean. Well anyway, i have to go now

Lord roberto: oh okay. Maybe we'll see eachother again one day.

Rosie: yeah. Maybe we will. Bye

Lord roberto: bye

(lord roberto and rosie exit from opposite directions. Narrators enter)

Narrator 1: sadly we won't see lord roberto again in this play. But come back and see rise of the ki-turkeys or what if Rosie and Daisy had split? for more lord roberto.

Narrator 2: getting back on topic, rosie was just arriving back at rosie and daisy's castle in kitten town.

(narrators exit. rosie enters into the flower room. The case in between the rose and daisy case is empty. It's the case where the jabereep stone is supposed to be)

Rosie: WHAT! WHY IS THE JABEREEP STONE CASE EMPTY!!!! DAISYYYYYYYY!

(daisy enters)

Daisy: what is… (notices empty case) WHAT HAPPENED!

Rosie: YOU TELL ME!!!

Daisy: well you did say you were going somewhere. Did you steal it!?!

Rosie: well where were you?

Daisy: uh…

Rosie: fine! I know how to settle this. Let's go check the security cameras.

(rosie exits and then enters with a computer. Rosie sits down and opens her computer and then types some stuff on it)

Rosie: okay. Here is the security footage from earlier and.. MAX!!!

Daisy: MAX! But we killed max! What is max doing in our castle!

Rosie: and why is she so dark? It's like a shadow or a… GHOST! that's it! When we killed max she turned into a ghost and has now come to take the jabereep stone! Wait.. oh no.. max has come back as a ghost and stolen the jabereep stone. That's not good

(rosie clicks a few more things on his computer and types some stuff)

Rosie: and when i go to the footage from the flower room today it just shows static

Daisy: what are we going to do?

Rosie: WE HAVE TO FIND MAX!

Daisy: yes, we do. And we must finally get rid if her for good

Rosie: deal?

Daisy: deal

(they do a Catish handshake)

Rosie: okay so where is Max right now?

(rosie clicks stuff on his computer)

Rosie: she’s at the front door. About to exit the castle. And…. now she’s out of the castle

Daisy: okay then let's go!

Rosie: right!

        (they jump up and exit. Max’s ghost enters)

Max: well, i guess i won't be-

                      (rosie and Daisy run on)

Rosie: stop right there!

Daisy: hault!

Rosie: give us back the Jabereep stone!

Max: (turns around evilly) your wrong. I dont have the Jabereep stine

Rosie: huh?

Max: one of you does, and i know which one

Rosie: daisy?

Daisy: how could you!

Rosie: well if Max doesnt have the stone then…

Daisy: well. I

Max: just fight already so i can take the stone!

Daisy:  Fine! (pulls out crown with Jabereep stone on it) I do have the Jabereep stone!

(rosie gasps)

Rosie: how could you!

Daisy: Because i deserve to live forever! Not you!

(Rosie launches himself toward Daisy and they fight for the stone. Max joins then and they all hold onto the crown pulling it in different directions)

Max: Give me the stone!

Rosie: never! I want to live forever!

Daisy: no! I do!

(there is a ripping/breaking noise and the crown breaks. The stone glows and then disintegrates)

Max: nooo! My power!

Rosie: ah!

Daisy: why!

(they all start to glow a little. Max turns back into a fully visible Max. not Maxs ghost)

Rosie: what.. What happened?

Daisy: what's going on?

Max: I'm fully visible again!

Rosie: i think.. I think when the stone broke, since we all ripped it apart together, we all became immortal…

Daisy: it appears so

Max: yes! Now i can take over everyone!

Rosie: and i can help you! I mean.. Uh.. no you can't. That's not nice

Daisy: lets go. We need to look into this some more

Max: me too?

Daisy: well yeah, sure.

Rosie: now that the jabereep stone is gone we aren't enemies anymore

Max: yay

(max, Daisy, and rosie exit. Narrator enters)

Narrator: and so they all became immortal, and lived forever, but of course this is not the end. Just because they are immortal doesn't mean they wont do crazy things to get them into trouble. I wonder what other things will happen later, but for that we will have to wait for another time and another play…

(black out)
