A Quick Trip Across the Universe

(Danny and Fi enter. Danny is carrying a notebook and is writing on the cover of it with a pen)

Danny: Once upon a time on a planet called Mewpurrter dot dot dot. There! That's perfect.

Fi: Are you ready?

Danny: Of course I am. We will get to go back to Mewpurrter!

Fi: And we can take a journal of everything we do and everything we learn so that when we come back to Earth we can start a whole company all about Mewpurrter!

Danny: People will think we are so creative!

(Danny and Fi exit talking. Ruby enters)

Ruby: It’s over there.

(Danny and Fi enter following him)

Danny: So it’s over here?

Ruby: Yeah, I came downstairs this morning and it was just here.

(Ruby walks over and moves some boxes, revealing a portal)

Fi: Wow! We haven’t seen it in so long.

Danny: Why do you think it opened up again, the last time it opened we were only 13.

Ruby: Yep, 5 years ago. It feels like forever.

Fi: If we create a company based on Mewpurrter and we become famous we could buy a mansion!

Danny: We have three days to spend on Mewpurrter before college starts, at least for Fi and I.

Ruby: Yep, college. You will be going so far away! I don't know what I will do.

Danny: Don’t worry, we can text all the time and every time I'm back in Georgia I'll come visit you.

Fi: What about me?

Danny: We’re going to college together, silly!

Fi: (laughs) I know. All the way in Pennsylvania!

Ruby: While I'm stuck living here.

Danny: It’ll be okay. Now, let's get through this portal.

Fi: (deep breath) Now!

(Fi runs and jumps through the portal. Danny is about to jump through it but Ruby stops her)

Ruby: Wait!

Danny: What’s wrong?

Ruby: I didn't want to say this in front of Fi, she would make fun of me, but I will really miss you when you go off to college. I wish I could come with you and Fi.

Danny: But you can’t, you want to be an engineer and we want to start a company and write plays. Those are really different things and I don’t know of a really good college for all of it. It will be okay.

Ruby: I know it will, I know you will come back and visit.

Danny: If this company is a success then we were thinking about buying a mansion, you know you could come and stay in it with us in a few years if you’d like.

Ruby: Really?

Danny: Well of course. You don't have to live with your parents for the rest of your life.

Ruby: Thank you.

Danny: No problem, now let's go. If we leave Fi by herself any longer who knows what she will do!

Ruby: (laughs) Okay!

(Ruby and Danny walk into the portal together. Fi enters)

Fi: Mewpurrter!

(Danny and Ruby enter)

Danny: I’m back!

Ruby: Wow!

Fi: So what should we do? Who should we go talk to about Mewpurrter?

Danny: There were those two cats that we ran into last time we came here, we could try to find them.

Ruby: But where do you think they are?

Fi: Last time we were here they were in some mountains near here.

Danny: They said they were going to the oofa tribe, but what's the oofa tribe?

Ruby: Let's go try and find it.

(Fi, Ruby, and Danny start to exit and then stop)

Danny: Huh!

Fi: What is that!?

Ruby: I don't know!

Danny: Well there is only one way to find out, let's go.

(Danny exits. Ruby and Fi look at each other with worried expressions then exit. Zoofusa enters)

Zoofusa: what?! Are those...

(Danny, Ruby, and Fi enter)

Zoofusa: humans!

Danny: hello.

Fi: hi.

Zoofusa: who are you?

Ruby: I am Ruby.

Danny: I'm Danny.

Fi: and I'm Fi.

Ruby: who are you?

Zoofusa: I am Zoofusa, the leader of the oofa tribe.

Fi: oofa tribe!

Zoofusa: you’ve heard of it?

Danny: yes, the last time we came to Mewpurrter we met two cats that were coming here.

Zoofusa: the last time you were on Mewpurrter? What do you mean?

Fi: we come from the planet of Earth, the planet on the other side of the portal.

Rosie: (sigh)

Max: what are you doing here?

Zoofusa: did you go through the portalusa recently? Or hire someone to go through it?

Max: no. why? Did something happen?

Fi: the portal is open on Earth right now.

Danny: we were able to come through it.

Max: uh oh. Who went through the portalusa?

Daisy: that's what we came to ask you.

Max: I get it! You thought that I had gone to Earth to take over.

Rosie: yeah. Sorry to bother you.

(Zoofusas phone rings and he answers it)

Zoofusa: hello?

(Someone mumbles something)

Zoofusa: I’m on my way.

(Zoofusa hangs up his phone)

Ruby: what is it?

Zoofusa: they caught who went through the portalusa.

Danny: then let's go!

(Rosie, Daisy, Zoofusa, Danny, Fi, and Ruby exit)

Max: good luck!

(Max exits. Lulloofusa enters with Shroozle. Lulloofusa is interrogating Shroozle)

Lulloofusa: Why did you go through the portalusa!?

Shroozle: none of your business!

(Zoofusa, Rosie, Daisy, Danny, Fi, and Ruby enter)

Zoofusa: what is going on here? Shroozle!

Shroozle: Zoofusa, um.. (totally not surprised to see him) Its um.. What are you doing here?

Zoofusa: um.. This is my tribe? You know that the portalusa is protected by the oofa tribe.

Shroozle: oh, it is?! I didn’t.. Uh.. Remember that.

Danny: wait, who are you?

Daisy: yeah, who are you?

Fi: wait, Rosie and Daisy, you don't know?

Rosie: no, i've never seen this creature in my whole life.

Ruby: then who are you? (To Shroozle)

Shroozle: My name is Shroozle. I am the leader of the foozle tribe.

Daisy: foozle tribe? I know i'm a king of Kitten Town and should know this already, but what is a foozle?

(Recioozle enters. Danny, by now, has taken out her notebook and is scribbling notes into it)

Recioozle: there you are brother! Why did you run off? Everyone has been looking for yo… Zoofusa?

Zoofusa: Recioozle?

Danny: hold on, your name is Recioozle?

Recioozle: yes.

Danny: and you are a foozle?

Recioozle: yes, I am a heart foozle.

Fi: and your name is Shroozle?

Shroozle: yes.

Ruby: what kind of foozle are you?

Shroozle: I am the leader of the foozle tribe, I am a mushroozle.

Rosie: a what?

Shroozle: when a foozle becomes leader they use magic to evolve into a mushroom foozle.

(Danny scribbles more stuff into her notebook)

Shroozle: what are you doing here brother?

Recioozle: oh.. I.. Um.. Well, I came to look for you. Why are you here? Why have you come to the oofa tribe?

Shroozle: um… well, I…

Lulloofusa: and why did you go through the portalusa?

Shroozle: I. I.. Just leave me alone!

(Shroozle runs off)

Lulloofusa: hey! Come back here!

(Lulloofusa runs off after Shroozle)

Recioozle: Zoofusa, I haven't seen you in uh… Forever.

Zoofusa: how have you been?

Recioozle: (obviously feels weird about talking to Zoofusa) Oh I have been good, I am second in command of the foozle tribe, so that's good. How have you been?

Zoofusa: (obviously feels weird about talking to Recioozle) well, I am also good. I am still the leader of the oofa tribe, like I was last time we saw each other.

Recioozle: so.. Um, I heard you and your wife divorced.

Zoofusa: oh, um yes, we did.

Recioozle: sorry to hear that.

Zoofusa: it's not your fault..

Recioozle: well…

Zoofusa: anyway, I have to go. Goodbye.

(Zoofusa quickly exits)

Ruby: what was that all about?

Recioozle: nothing. Goodbye.

(Recioozle quickly exits in the opposite direction from Zoofusa)

Fi: does anyone know what is going on?

Rosie: I don't.

Daisy: no clue.

Danny: I am so confused.

Rosie: I didn't even know there was such thing as a foozle until today.

Ruby: I didn't either.

Fi: well obviously you didn't! You don't even live on Mewpurrter!

Danny: it’s getting dark out, should we go to your castle?

Rosie: good idea, we can figure all this out in the morning.

Ruby and Fi: okay.

(Rosie, Daisy, Danny, Fi, and Ruby exit. Zoofusa enters)

Zoofusa: (pacing back and forth) oh no, this can't be happening! I don't want to go through this again!

(Lulloofusa enters)

Lulloofusa: Zoofusa?

Zoofusa: yes Lulloofusa? Is there something you want?

Lulloofusa: I have information regarding Shroozles appearance near the oofa tribe today.

Zoofusa: oh no.

Lulloofusa: listen, I know it's been years and years since you saw him but he still has feelings for you.

Zoofusa: why though!? I told him I didn't like him that way! I don't understand why he can't just move on! It has been over 500 years!!

Lulloofusa: Well he is in love with you, Zoofusa. Why else would he “accidentally” walk into the portalusa a month after you and Appletta got divorced. He obviously knows that you and Appletta aren't together anymore. It was no accident Shroozle showed up today. He went through the portalusa because he knew you would notice and that someone would be waiting on Mewpurrter to take him to you when he got back.

Daisy: so like what I’m going to do to Lord Roberto!

(Lulloofusa exits. Shroozle enters and sits down on the ground angrily)

Shroozle: how dare he show up like that!

(Recioozle enters. Shroozle stands up)

Shroozle: You!

Recioozle: yes?

Shroozle: how dare you come to the oofa tribe! You knew I went there to get Zoofusa to fall in love with me! You had no right to show up and let him fall in love with you again!

Recioozle: so this is my fault?! You are the foozle that went off without telling anyone!

Shroozle: but you knew that I went to see Zoofusa!

Recioozle: You are right, I did know. But the truth is that Zoofusa has always loved me! If it wasn't for you Zoofusa and I would have been married 600 years ago!

Shroozle: that's not true!

(Shroozle exits angrily)

Recioozle: Stop denying the truth!

(Recioozle exits. Danny, Fi, Ruby, Rosie, and Daisy enter into Rosie and Daisy's castle)

Danny: so this is your castle?

Rosie: yep.

Fi: it's so big!

Daisy: we know.

Ruby: wow! I can’t believe we get to stay here tonight!

Danny: If it's okay with Rosie and Daisy.

Rosie: of course you can stay the night. We have three guest rooms that you are welcome to stay in.

Ruby: Yay!

Fi: thank you!

Danny: it’s pretty late, I think we’d better go to bed.

Rosie: okay. I’ll show you where your rooms are.

(Rosie exits. Danny, Fi, and Ruby exit following him)

Daisy: everything is so weird. I wonder what will happen tomorrow.

(Rosie enters)

Rosie: what did you say?

Daisy: what do you think that was all about earlier? I mean why would Shroozle go through the portalusa and why did Zoofusa seem so awkward when he was talking to Recioozle.

Rosie: I’m not sure. I didn't know that Recioozle or Shroozle existed until today. I know just as much as you do.

Daisy: I suppose we can figure it out tomorrow.

Rosie: yep! We will figure it out tomorrow because we are Rosie and Daisy!

Daisy: right!

(Rosie and Daisy exit. Danny and Fi enter from opposite sides)

Fi: (yawn) good morning!

Danny: good morning!

(Ruby enters)

Ruby: Hey!

Fi: hi.

Danny: hello. How are you today?

Ruby: good. How about you two?

Fi: I'm fine.

Danny: me too.

(Rosie and Daisy enter)

Rosie: you ready!

Ruby: ready for what?

Daisy: to go visit Zoofusa!

Danny and Fi: yeah!

Ruby: sure.

Rosie: we had better hurry and get there, because you guys have to leave tomorrow and we need to figure out the mystery of Zoofusa, Shroozle, and Recioozle before you leave!

Daisy: let's go!

(Ruby, Danny, Fi, Rosie, and Daisy exit. Zoofusa enters)

Zoofusa: what will today hold for me?

(Shroozle runs in)

Shroozle: Zoofusa!

(Recioozle runs in)

Recioozle: Zoofusa!

Zoofusa: no! I do not want to see you, two! I haven't seen you in about 600 years! Never again!

Recioozle: I'm sorry Zoofusa! I’m so sorry about the way we acted all those years ago. You were in love with me and I let me and Shroozle argue over you so much that you just told us to go away. I’m so sorry we did that.

Zoofusa: so am I.

Shroozle: but we are over that now! We just want you to choose which one of us you are in love wit and then we can all live in harmony!

Recioozle: yeah!

Zoofusa: you have got to be kidding me! I'm not choosing between you two jerks! I don’t like either of you!

(Rosie, Daisy, Danny, Fi, and Ruby enter)

Rosie: there you are!

Zoofusa: what are all of you doing here?

Fi: we came to figure out what is going on.

Shroozle: you have until tomorrow to choose, Zoofusa.

Recioozle: maybe we shouldn't make him choose. Isn't it a little bit rude?

Shroozle no! Now let’s go!

(Shroozle and Recioozle exit)

Daisy: (to Ruby, Danny, and Fi) go talk to them and figure out what is happening. We will talk to Zoofusa.

Danny and Ruby: Okay!

(Ruby, Danny, and Fi exit)

Rosie: Zoofusa?

Daisy: what was all that?

Zoofusa: they are making me choose between them! I don't know what to do! The truth is that… that…

Rosie: that you are in love with Recioozle?

Zoofusa: … How did you know?

Daisy: it's obvious you like him by the way you act around him.

Rosie: you should go and talk to him later.

Zoofusa: but I can't.

Daisy: why not?

Zoofusa: because Shroozle likes me too and all they will do is fight over me.

Rosie: if you and Recioozle truly love each other then you shouldn't let Shroozle get in the way of that.

Zoofusa: you really think so?

Daisy: of course! How about you meet Recioozle next to Kitten Lake in an hour.

Zoofusa: but how will he know to meet me there? And what about Shroozle?

Rosie: don’t worry about any of that. We will take care of it.

Zoofusa: really?!

Daisy: of course!

Zoofusa: oh thank you so much!

Rosie: no problem.

Daisy: we have to start planning. Just remember, Kitten Lake in one hour.

Zoofusa: I won't forget

(Rosie and Daisy exit. Zoofusa exits from the opposite direction. Shroozle and Recioozle enter)

Recioozle: do you think he will actually choose between us?

Shroozle: of course he will!

(Danny, Ruby, and Fi run in)

Ruby: Hey, wait!

Fi: we want to talk to you!

Recioozle: yes?

Danny: why were you two talking to Zoofusa?

Shroozle: we asked him to choose one of us.

Ruby: for what?

Recioozle: choose which one of us he is in love with.

Ruby: oh!

Fi: why?

Shroozle: because we are both in love with him.

Danny: but don't you think it would be better if you didn't make him choose?

Ruby: it will just end with one of you having their heart broken.

Recioozle: it’s better than both of us being in love with him for the rest of our lives.

Fi: I suppose. Danny, did you get all of that?

(Danny writes stuff down in her notebook)

Danny: yep.

Ruby: thank you. And good luck to both of you.

Shroozle: thanks.

Recioozle: thank you.

Fi: goodbye!

(Danny, Ruby, and Fi exit)

Recioozle: I wonder why they wrote what we said down?

Shroozle: I don't know.

(Recioozle and Shroozle exit. Rosie and Daisy enter. Danny, Ruby, and Fi enter from the opposite side)

Rosie: you three ready?

Fi: for what?

Daisy: the plan.

Danny: what plan?

Rosie: we are going to kidnap Shroozle.

Ruby: what!?

Daisy: and with Shroozle out of the way Recioozle and Zoofusa can meet with each other at Kitten Lake!

Danny: but why are we kidnapping him?

Fi: isn't that illegal?

Rosie and Daisy: illegal?

Rosie: what does illegal mean?

Daisy: we are not familiar with that word.

Fi: it means that you aren't allowed to do something.

Ruby: and if you do do that thing then you get in trouble and get punished.

Rosie and Daisy: (laugh)

Rosie: silly kids we are leaders of Kitten Town.

Daisy: leaders of tribes and towns or of kingdoms can do whatever they want.

Rosie: there is no one above us so we do as we please.

Danny: so you could kill someone and nothing would happen?

Daisy: of course!

Rosie: kill someone? I suppose we could kill someone ourselves if we wanted to, but that is why there are such things as assassins.

Ruby: oh...

Fi: I don't want to get on your bad side.

Daisy: not many creatures are on our bad side. At least not any living creatures.

Rosie: anyway, you three kidnap Shroozle and take him to the Muji Mountains. Daisy will go with you. I’m going to wait and tell Recioozle that he has to go meet up with Zoofusa.

Danny: okay.

(Danny, Ruby, Fi, and Daisy exit. Rosie exits on the opposite side. Shroozle enters)

Shroozle: back to the oofa tribe I go! Since Recioozle had to go get some water I had the perfect chance to sneak away! Now I can hang out with Zoofusa all day and get him to fall in love with me-

(Daisy runs over and puts his hands over Shroozles mouth. Danny comes over and puts tape on his mouth while Ruby and Fi tie his hands together)

Shroozle: (muffled sounds of distress)

(Daisy, Ruby, Fi, and Danny drag Shroozle off as he continues to struggle. Recioozle enters with a glass of water)

Recioozle: I wonder what I should…

(Bushes rustle)

Recioozle: what was that?

(Rosie enters)

Rosie: hello.

Recioozle: hello? Aren't you Zoofusas friend?

Rosie: yes, my name is Rosie. I am one of the kings of Kitten Town.

Recioozle: what are you doing here?

Rosie: Zoofusa wants to meet you at Kitten Lake in 15 minutes.

Recioozle: really?

Rosie: yes, he asked me to tell you.

Recioozle: but what about Shroozle? He will follow me there.

Rosie: don't worry about him. I will take care of that.

Recioozle: you’re telling me the truth?

Rosie: a rose never lies.

Recioozle: thank you so much.

Rosie: no problem, now you better get going. Zoofusa will be waiting for you.

Recioozle: okay! Thank you, again.

(Recioozle exits. Rozie exits in the opposite direction. Daisy, Fi, Ruby, Danny, and Shroozle enter into the Muji Mountains. Daisy rips the tape off of Shroozles mouth)

Shroozle: oww!

Daisy: (unapologetically) oops.

Shroozle: what do you want with me?!

Danny: sorry, but we had to bring you here.

Fi: Rosie and Daisy planned it.

Ruby: I'm sorry we had to kidnap you.

(Rosie enters)

Rosie: good! You captured him!

(Shroozle looks at Rosie in awe as if it's the first time he has ever seen him)

Shroozle: so you are the cat who ordered for me to be brought here?

Rosie: I suppose you could say that.

Shroozle: are you trying to get me to fall in love with you instead of Zoofusa? Because if that's the case then you’ve succeeded.

Daisy: um…

Rosie: um…

Danny, Ruby, and Fi: uh…

Rosie: that's not exactly the reason why we brought you here.

Daisy: Zoofusa doesn't love you. He loves Recioozle. And he wanted to meet with Recioozle and tell him how he feels without you interrupting.

Fi: you could have said it nicer!

Ruby: that was just harsh!

Shroozle: oh… So you didn't bring me here because you are in love with me. (to Rosie)

Rosie: no...

Danny: will you be okay knowing that Zoofusa doesn't love you?

Shroozle: yes. I never was actually in love with him. I just had a crush on him, unlike my brother who has been in love with Zoofusa for over 600 years.

Daisy: great! Now I don't have to hear you cry!

Fi: do you have no empathy at all?

Daisy: no, no I don't.

Ruby: harsh.

Shroozle: so, Rosie. Do you maybe want to hang out tomorrow? Go get lunch or something?

Rosie: I have a boyfriend…

Shroozle: what! Who?

Rosie: Lord Roberto…

Shroozle: that ki-turkey! But you can do so much better than him!? Why?

Rosie: (annoyed) well, because I like him. Why else would he be my boyfriend?

Shroozle: good point.

Danny: wait, you have a boyfriend?

Rosie: yes.

Fi: can we meet him?

Ruby: I don't take you as the type of cat to be more than friends with someone.

Rosie: yeah, you can meet him tomorrow.

Shroozle: but what about me!?

Daisy: what about you?

Rosie: I only just met you yesterday.

Shroozle: I guess... I’m going back to my tribe now!

(Shroozle exits)

Daisy: Well, we did our best. What else should we do today?

Rosie: we can give them a quick tour of Kitten Town and then go check on Zoofusa.

Daisy: good idea!

(Rosie, Daisy, Danny, Fi, and Ruby exit. Zoofusa enters and stands in the center of the stage looking down nervously, Recioozle enters)

Recioozle: Zoofusa?

(Zoofusa looks up)

Zoofusa: Recioozle! I was afraid you wouldn't come.

Recioozle: I was afraid that you wouldn't be here.

Zoofusa: well I am.

Recioozle: why did you want to talk to me?

Zoofusa: I wanted to tell you that i... I.

Recioozle: can I tell you something first?

Zoofusa: yes.

Recioozle: I love you. I've always been in love with you, ever since we first met. And I'm so sorry that I let Shroozle come between us all those years ago.

Zoofusa: (smiles) it’s okay. I love you too.

Recioozle: really!?

Zoofusa: yes.

(Recioozle hugs Zoofusa)

Recioozle: I must get going, I don't want to know what Shroozle will think if I’m gone for too long.

(Rosie and Daisy enter)

Rosie: you don’t have to.

Recioozle: what? Why not?

Daisy: because we already told him that Zoofusa is in love with you and that that is where you went.

Zoofusa: you did what!?

(Danny, Fi, and Ruby enter)

Recioozle: how did he take it? Was he mad?

Danny: no, he actually got over it very quickly.

Fi: the only thing he seemed mad about was Rosie rejecting him.

Zoofusa: why would Rosie need to reject him?

Ruby: because he asked Rosie to be his boyfriend.

Recioozle: oh. I had better go talk to him. He’s probably upset. (Turns to Zoofusa) bye. Maybe we can hang out again soon.

Zoofusa: of course we can. Bye.

(Recioozle exits)

Fi: you did it!

Ruby: you told him how you feel!

Danny: good job!

Rosie: yes, we are very proud of you Zoofusa.

Daisy: yes, we are.

Zoofusa: thank you all so much. None of this would have happened without you. But I need to get going back to my tribe. It is getting dark out and I need to check on my tribe. (to Ruby, Danny, and Fi) I will probably be hanging out with Recioozle tomorrow when you three leave so goodbye.

Ruby: goodbye.

Danny: glad we could help you.

Fi: Bye.

(Zoofusa exits)

Daisy: he’s right. It's getting dark. We should go back to our castle and get to bed. We need to wake up early tomorrow so we can use as much of the day as possible before you leave.

Rosie: and tomorrow we can go visit Lord Roberto.

Daisy: do we have to?

Danny: I want to.

Fi: so do I.

Ruby: me too.

Rosie: yes, Daisy, we do have to go visit him tomorrow.

Daisy: fine...

(Rosie, Daisy, Danny, Fi, and Ruby exit. Switch scene to Rosie and Daisy's castle. Rosie and Daisy enter)

Rosie: good morning!

Daisy: good morning!

Rosie: are they awake yet?

Daisy: I'm not sure.

(Fi enters)

Fi: hello. So are we going to visit Lord Roberto?

Daisy: yes, right after everyone is awake.

Fi: Danny is. She is just grabbing her notebook.

(Danny enters holding her notebook)

Danny: ready?

Rosie: almost, where is Ruby?

Danny: not sure.

Fi: I don't know.

(Ruby enters sliding across the floor and then falls down)

Danny: are you okay!?

(Danny helps Ruby up)

Ruby: yeah, I’m fine. The floor was really slippery over there and slipped.

Rosie: Daisy?

Daisy: what! A cat can't get up at 2 in the morning and make some 아이쥬 (aye eatch mews)!?

Rosie: not if they are going to accidentally spill some of them onto the floor!

Fi: a what?

Daisy: 아이쥬 (aye eatch mew). Its a type of candy. They are really good. I have some that i made yesterday if you want to try one.

Ruby: sure!

(Daisy exits. Daisy enters with a plate with 5 아이쥬 (aye eatch mews) on it. Rosie, Danny, Fi, and Ruby each take one. Daisy eats the last one)

Danny: thank you.

Fi: they are really good.

Ruby: you made these yourself?!

Daisy: well that batch both Rosie and I made.

Rosie: enough about 아이쥬 (aye eatch mews). If you want to meet Lord Roberto before you have to leave then we should go.

Danny: okay!

(Rosie, Daisy, Ruby, Danny, and Fi exit. Lord Roberto enters into the Ki-turkey cave. A ki-turkey runs in)

Ki-turkey: Lord Roberto!

Lord Roberto: yes?

Ki-turkey: Rosie, Daisy, and some of their friends are here to see you.

Lord Roberto: okay, let them in.

Ki-turkey: yes Lord Roberto!

(The ki-turkey exits. A few seconds later Rosie, Daisy, Danny, Fi, and Ruby enter)

Rosie: Hey!

Lord Roberto: hey Rosie! Who are these humans?

Daisy: these are our friends Danny, Fi, and Ruby. They are from Earth.

Danny: hello. I am Danny.

Fi: And I’m Fi.

Lord Roberto: (to Ruby) which means you must be Ruby.

Ruby: yep.

Lord Roberto: nice to meet you.

Fi: so you are Rosie's boyfriend?

Lord Roberto: (blushes) yes.

Rosie: do you think you could tell them a little bit about what ki-turkeys are like.

Lord Roberto: sure.

(Danny takes out her notebook and writes down everything Lord Roberto says)

Lord Roberto: well ki-turkeys are a creature that lives on the wonderful world of Mewpurrter. Not everyone likes ki-turkeys and some creatures are scared of us. My tribe of ki-turkeys, the kashi ki-turkey tribe, lives in the Muji Mountains. There are said to be more tribes of ki-turkey throughout Mewpurrter, but I personally have never met any of these other ki-turkeys. Do you have anything to add Rosie? Or Daisy?

Daisy: some ki-turkeys (fake cough) Lord Roberto (fake cough) are idiots.

Rosie: (rolls eyes) don’t listen to Daisy.

Danny: (finishes writing) thank you very much.

Ruby: I wish we could stay longer but we have to get back to Earth.

Fi: Rosie, Daisy, can you show us the way back?

Daisy: yes.

Rosie: bye Lord Roberto! I will come hang out with you tomorrow.

Lord Roberto: okay, bye!

(Rosie, Daisy, Danny, Fi, and Ruby exit)

Lord Roberto: Rosie is so pretty.

(Lord Roberto exits to the opposite direction. Rosie, Daisy, Fi, Danny, and Ruby enter in front of the portalusa)

Ruby: thank you very much for letting us stay with you.

Danny: we will miss you so much.

Rosie: don’t worry, we will see each other again one day.

Daisy: maybe we can come visit you on Earth.

Fi: I don’t think the people of Earth are ready for magical, walking, talking cats from another world yet.

Rosie: well then maybe you could come visit us again.

Daisy: who knows what the future holds.

Danny: Goodbye!

(Danny exits through the portalusa)

Ruby: bye!

(Ruby exits through the portalusa)

Fi: thank you for letting us take notes about Mewpurrter. Goodbye.

(Fi exits through the portalusa)

Rosie: well there they go.

Daisy: back to normal life.

Rosie: for now at least.

(Rosie and Daisy exit. Switch scene to Ruby's basement. Ruby, Danny, and Fi enter)

Danny: we’re back on Earth!

Fi: that sure was an interesting adventure.

Ruby: we met so many new creatures.

Danny: and now it’s time for us to go.

Fi: all the way off to college.

Ruby: you two will be going so far away.

Danny: at least we got to spend three whole days together before we had to leave tomorrow morning. And don’t worry Ruby, When you see me next summer I will be a millionaire!

Fi: so will I!

Ruby: I’ll miss you, Danny.

Danny: I’ll miss you too.

(Ruby and Danny hug each other)

Ruby: I will miss you too Fi.

Fi: I’ll miss you as well. But don’t even think about hugging me.

Ruby: I wasn't.

(Ruby and Danny are holding hands)

Fi: come on Danny, it’s time for us to go. I don’t know about you but I still had some packing to do before we leave in the morning.

Danny: I do too.

(Danny stops for a second and then lets go of Ruby's hand and walks over to Fi)

Fi: Bye.

Ruby: Bye.

(Fi exits)

Danny: Goodbye Ruby.

Ruby: goodbye Danny.

(Danny turns and exits. Ruby stands there for a second and then turns and exits from the opposite direction. Fi and Danny enter)

Fi: it will be okay. You can text him all the time and you can send him pictures of the college when we get there.

Danny: (smiles) thanks. Now, how are we going to start this company?

Fi: I don’t know yet. We have a two-hour plane ride to think about it tomorrow.

Danny: and four whole years of college to turn those ideas into reality.

Fi: yep, and we will turn those ideas into reality.
Danny and Fi: because we are Danny and Fi and we can do anything!

(Danny and Fi laugh. Then they exit)
